Located across the street from the beach - Private covered Patio-This cozy little cottage located right across the street from Amelia Island’s beautiful Main Beach is the perfect place for a small family getaway. With a private patio to enjoy the beautiful Florida Weather, this is a perfect place to start your morning with a coffee and breakfast or end your day with a drink and dinner. This unit sleeps 6 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The first two bedrooms have queen beds, the third bedroom has 2 twin beds, and there is a sleeper sofa in the common area. Cottage By the Sea is a pet friendly property! We charge a $150 pet fee. The maximum weight for your pets is 25 pounds unless approved before check in by Amelia Island Vacations. Also there is a maximum of 2 pets allowed in this unit unless approved by Amelia Island Vacations before check in. Cleaning our properties At Amelia Island Vacations we take the safety of our guest and staff very seriously all of our cleaning staff uses PPE when in the properties. We follow all the CDC recommend guidelines for our properties. For disinfection, we use EPA-registered disinfectants which we use to clean all electronics including our Key-less entry system and thermostats. We have a laundry facility that we do all of our laundry in that comes with our 275 pound plus commercial washers and dryers are set up and controlled to wash laundry at approximately 160 degrees (vs the 110-120 degrees in the average washer) and a dryer at approximately 176 degrees (vs the 130-140 in an average dryer). Without getting overly scientific about it, our higher water and heat temperature increases the disinfection of germs leading to Covid-19. We clean and disinfect hampers or other carts for transporting laundry according to guidance above for hard or soft surfaces after each use. We are pleased to inform you that we have a key-less entry system that will allow direct entry into your unit and not require you to pick up and return keys to our office. This convenience is intended to allow you more time to enjoy your stay.
