An abundance of restaurants, Adirondack shopping and activities, like Go-Cart racing, miniature golf, railroad rides, two 18 hole golf course and homemade ice cream, are also just a short distance from the home. Water Safari, New York's largest water-theme park is less than 1.5 miles. Old Forge also has a beach for swimming and a local marina with boat rentals. In the opposite direction, less than 1 mile away, is McCauley Mountain Ski Area, which offers scenic chairlift rides. Also close by is the Old Forge scenic rail road.
In addition, this 3 bedroom/3 bathroom home sleeps 8, and comes with a fully equipped kitchen (dishes & pans, electric oven, refrigerator and ice maker, microwave, Keurig Coffee maker, Crock Pot, and a dishwasher) and meals can be enjoyed at a large dining room table that can comfortably seat 8. The living room is warm and inviting, with a large smart TV, and the home is fully equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi Internet. On the Second floor are two bedrooms with 1 king bed and 1 queen bed, along with a bathroom with a toilet, sink and shower. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed along with an adjacent full bathroom. The lower floor has a bonus room with a queen bed, full family room with a large smart TV. There is also a laundry room and bathroom with a toilet and shower. The front porch has a large deck with furniture and a BBQ grill. There is an open fire pit on the rear lawn.
All guests are required to provide their own bed linen, shower towels and all paper products for bathroom and kitchen. Guest must be at least 25 years of age or older, NO EXCEPTIONS. Sorry, no central air condition. Guests are required to leave the camp as they found it. Unload clean dishes from washer and return utensils and dishes to kitchen cabinets. All food removed from refrigerator and freezer. Countertop and kitchen floor are to be free of any food and debris. All bed covers returned and placed on beds. All your personal bath items to be removed. Guests are expected to empty all trash from house and take it with them, Town transfer station 1/2 mile from camp. Bear proof garbage dumster in front of house for weekly pickup, if empty guest can utilize, No additional fee at transfer station. Guests will be charged additional fee of $25.00 per garbage bag left either inside or outside of camp. Fee will be deducted from your security. All outside deck furniture to be returned to deck. BBQ grill to be covered and propane turned off at tank. If tank is left on, additional refill fee from security.
