This charming cabin is tucked away in pine woods and in prime Adirondack location. It has access to a neighborhood pond for kayaking or paddle boarding and is a 3 minute walk to Ausable River. It's a 25 min drive to Lake Placid, 10 min to Wilmington, and even closer to some of the best hiking, kayaking, skiing, and climbing that the ADKs has to offer. The cabin is designed in Adirondack Chalet style with a wood burning stove and brand new bathroom. It's *thoroughly* cleaned between visits.
The cabin sits on a private lot surrounded by pine, maple, and birch trees. There is one bedroom with a queen bed on the main floor, and two twin beds in the A-frame style loft (they are stacked into one twin bed and can be easily unstacked). An additional rolling cot can be requested if needed. The living space has a very comfortable futon that can serve as additional sleeping space. The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans for cooking. There is a desk and workspace in the loft, along with a monitor, for remote working. There is a smart TV but instead of cable you can access Netflix and more. The chalet is designed with a modern Southwestern style and the many Native American notes in the design are inspired by the native Mohawk tribe. The bathroom is *newly* renovated.
