This is a spacious, 2200 sq ft, classic PRAIRIE STYLE home just west of the Benson Neighborhood. This turn-of-the-century home offers five bedrooms and two full baths, a fully furnished kitchen, separate dining room, and large living room. There are four good-size bedrooms upstairs, and one large bedroom on the main floor with private entrance. There is also a full bathroom on each floor. This home comfortably accommodates 8 to 10 guests.
Our home is 5 miles from downtown Omaha, the Century Link Center and Ameritrade Park – or about 10-15 minutes drive time, and only a 5 minute drive from the Westroads (CWS shuttle), and Borsheims at the Regency Shopping Center. We are centrally located, less than 5 minutes to 72nd and Dodge Street, and the Nebraska Furniture Mart with easy access to shopping and great restaurants.
The back yard is over ½ acre with a 600 sq ft deck and grill, and lots of room to relax under our Ginormous 100 year old Catalpa Tree! Summers are great here!
This 100+ year old home is remarkably well-preserved with lots of its original character and beauty, but also has all modern conveniences. Original Oak and Tigers Eye Maple wood floors, 9 ft ceilings with original plaster cove, and numerous antique pieces are only part of the charm. We love our well-cared for home and know that you will too.
