Our property is a rustic 46 acre ranch with unique glamping accommodations- perfect for those who appreciate a natural and fun experience! Included with any rental is community access to our dining hall, a fully stocked kitchen, 5 full bathrooms with showers, as well as property amenities such as outdoor games, walking trails, hammocks, fire pit, dipping pools, hot tub (adults only), sauna (adults only), playground, sand volleyball court & more.
We are located in Marble Falls, the heart of hill country Texas. Shopping, wineries, breweries, lake activities and more.
We have unique accommodations on our property (three glamping yurt style tents, a full size yurt, a bunk cabin, two container villas and two vintage trailers). Our community outdoor area has a covered bar, outdoor fire pit (subject to county restrictions), outdoor games, dipping pools, hot tub (adults only), sauna (adults only), playground, sand volleyball court sitting areas and more. We have hammocks and trails throughout the property. Also on site is a small boutique store carrying local artisan finds, snacks and more.
The cold dipping pools are only open if it is not freezing. The hot tub is available all year long and is $10 per day to heat. No guests under the age of 14 in the hot tub when heated, no exceptions.
Although the tents are heated (and we provide heated blankets) and have AC & fans, however they’re still canvas tents so keep that in mind for temp forecasting.
Please note we have cameras in the common areas (not in the accommodations or bathrooms).
Our historic 1860 house, outdoor pavilion, karma lounge and labyrinth areas are for retreats and events only.
Note we do not provide housekeeping services. However if you are getting low on towels or need a new set of sheets let us know and we will provide them to you.
Children cannot be left unattended at any time.
**Please note for EVENTS: if you have an event there is an event fee associated. Also our QUIET HOURS ARE FROM 9PM to 7AM, NO EXCEPTIONS EVEN IF YOU RENT THE ENTIRE RANCH. No amplified sounds after 8pm and no loud noises, screaming after 9pm. You can stay up and enjoy the property for as long as you like so long as there is no amplified sounds after 8pm and no loud noises after 9pm. Even though we are in the country sounds travel and we like to be courteous to our neighbors both human and animal. Please contact us for questions about our events.
We live on the back of the property and love visiting and interacting with our guests, but also know if a guest wants privacy we will honor that too :)
A rural mostly residential neighborhood.
All GPS and maps will drop you at our service gate, the guest entrance is just to the left with two flags and a large overhead signage: Retreat Ranch. After inputting code, please be watchful of our free ranging horses (entering and exiting the gate). If you see the horses present please do not open/activate the gate; call us for assistance. Follow signs to ten minute check in parking. There is a 10 minute parking to start with, then after check in and unloading your vehicle, you can move your car to our parking lot.
This listing is for one of our yurt style tent accommodations which has 4 twin beds A/C & heat as well as full electricity. Mattresses are temperpedic style with luxury bamboo sheets and we provide fluffy robes for adults. Hammock lounge area nearby and throughout the property. Please note that although our yurts have electricity and AC, during our summer months, the daytime hours can still be warm until the sun isn't directly on the tents and during the winter it can still be a little chilly (heated blankets are provided too) please keep this in mind for temperature planning.
On our property is our dining hall shared by all our guests (when you rent the whole ranch it is just for your group). It is 900 sq feet and is stocked with dishes, glassware (drinking and wine glasses), silverware, utensils,- all for up to 30 guests. It also has pots/pans, serving dishes, Tupperware and small appliances (blender, toaster, two crockpots, a 30 cup coffee maker, a Keurig, a french press and a hot water dispenser). It has two full size fridge/freezers, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave. There is a complimentary laundry facility on site. A charcoal grill & smoker is on site (guests provide their own charcoal).
Also included with any rental is access to all amenities including our dipping pools, hot tub (adults only), sauna (adults only), outdoor fire pit (subject to county restrictions, firewood available for sale for $6 per bundle or you can bring your own, no lighter fluid), games, grill, playground, sand volleyball court, walking trails & more.
Complimentary coffee, tea and sweeteners are included with your rental.
Wifi is available but it is spotty and limited as it is rural satellite. It is also only accessible when you are close to the dining hall and boutique store. Consider this the perfect time to disconnect from the outside noise and to tune into yourself and those who are with you.
We do NOT allow pets (including service animals) on our property due to our own ranch animals and livestock, including horses that free range and can get spooked by unknown pets causing harm to both animals. This includes NO service animals.
We have free ranging horses, sweet goats, lots of chickens and honeybees we raise and take care of on site. There are lots of opportunities to visit and love on most of our animals and event feed em treats!
We have unique accommodations on our rustic ranch. But please note, we are a rustic ranch with dirt trails/roads that are uneven and well, dirty.
And it has to be said, that although we love to host every guest that comes, this listing may not be for you if:
-you feel it is too expensive
-you’re expecting to stay at a “Ritz” luxury style resort
-you’re uptight, a complainer, demanding or have negative energy
-you want to sit in front of the TV and don't like nature (ps we don’t have tv’s and the wifi is very spotty)
-you haven't read everything in this listing
-you don't think you can control your group
-you don’t like nature and are afraid of dust/dirt/bugs (and mud if it is raining)
- you like to listen to loud music all night

We are located in Marble Falls, the heart of hill country Texas. We are located approximately one hour from the Austin airport. There are so many amazing things to do in our town: Shopping, breweries, wineries, galleries, hiking, boating, kayaking, fishing. We are located approximately 15 minutes from lake access and have free boat parking available on site! We are within 15-20 minutes of several wineries and only 40 minutes from the famous Fredericksburg Winery and shopping! Also very close by are swimming springs, state parks, cavern tours, exotic zoo and so much more!
