While this barn never stored hay or animals it was built in 2000 for unique living complete with a massive fireplace (with propane insert for both ambiance and heat) high end finishes and even on suites in both bedrooms. While not on Lake Winnipesaukee, it is 3 mins literally to the heart of Alton Bay and the launch ramp onto the Big Lake and 3 minutes to Mount Major for a great hiking experience, 10 mins to Gunstock for skiing and other year round activities and 15 minutes to Meadowbrook.
