This property was built in 1890 and was recently restored and remodeled to reflect modern comfort. It is located in the heart of downtown Grand Haven, the closest Washington Avenue single family home to all that Grand Haven has to offer. It is just steps away from restaurants, bars, parks, coffee shops, shopping, and most importantly, within walking and/or biking distance to the water! Approximately 1.5 mile walk to the Lighthouse and beach. BOATERS- estimated 3-5 minute drive to boat launch.
Please note that, due to the property's downtown location, it is zoned as a mixed use property. This simply means that the first floor office space is occupied by a commercial tenant, while the second and third floors are zoned for residential use. The second and third floors (your private space) are secure from the first floor. Your private living space is completely separated and locked off from the first-floor office space. You can expect to use the mahogany staircase in the back of the property to access the property using a self-check-in process. To a guest, this may almost feel like a luxury duplex or brownstone.
