Split Rail sits on a hill overlooking Lake Glenville, a pristine lake with 26 miles of shoreline, located just 8 miles from Cashiers. This is the highest lake in elevation east of the Mississippi River. An open floor plan with many windows allows for a ton of natural light. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and an island with seating; there is a grill on the main floor deck. In the living room, under the soaring tongue and groove ceiling, enjoy a stunning view of the lake, a fire in the large stone fireplace, while relaxing on the over-stuffed sofa. There is a large Smart TV in this room, with access to YouTube TV and other apps. The entry level guest room features a king bed and sliding glass doors to the deck overlooking the lake. An adjacent full bathroom also serves as a powder room for this floor. Upstairs offers a master bedroom with a king bed, a large Smart TV, a private bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub, and access to a private balcony overlooking the lake. There is a large second guest room on this floor, with a king bed, a large Smart TV, and a full bath. The lower level renders another living area with a large couch that seats at least 6, a 65" Smart TV, a gas fireplace, and pool table. The lower-level bedroom has a queen bed and twin bunk beds, a TV, and uses a bathroom with a double shower. From the lower level living area, there are double French doors leading to an outside infinity deck overlooking the lake, seating area, and a hot tub. There is separate entrance to the very spacious garage apartment which has two queen sized beds, ceiling fans, a flat screen TV, and a private bath with shower/tub combination. The apartment offers sliding glass doors to the private balcony, providing natural light and a view of the lake, as well as a kitchenette with a mini fridge, sink, coffee maker, and microwave. This home also has a private dock located just a short walk down the driveway. There are 2 kayaks available. You also have use of the garage.
